We’re officially in drought in the East of England. There’s been a hose-pipe ban in place for ten days. Every time I venture out in the drought I get drenched to the skin. It’s droughting it down, cats and dogs, as I write. I wish we could get back to good old Blighty weather so I can remain dry.

Are the cats and dogs speaking? Southeastern Michigan USA is experiencing the opposite. We have not had much precipitation during the winter or spring. Wishing you a future of dry spells.
We’ve had a very dry Autumn and Winter, hence the drought declaration, but it’s done nothing but rain ever since.
I was going to water the garden … Bugger! … I’ll have to leave it till it stops raining now!

I live in sunny Lincoln, about forty miles from the East Coast. Famous for sausages and folk with webbed feet!

Bonkers isn’t it? I figured; drought, holy hell, its really bad then. And of course within the hour I stepped outside and got drenched to the bone in the rain. Its rained evrey day since. -_-
I think you generally get more rain than we do but it’s been just the same here.
